Do you want to learn to move with confidence even in snowy environments with snowshoes? Our course is exactly what you need.
We will delve into Risk Management: in the mountains, there is NO such thing as guaranteed safety. We will address this aspect throughout the course day, drawing on personal experience, to learn how to minimize exposure to risks.
We will discuss: Equipment, Technique, Safety, Progression Techniques, Orientation, Group Management, and Unforeseen Event Management.
N.B. Experience available from December to January (arrange the day with the facility according to the proposed calendar) and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
WHAT YOU NEED
- Appropriate clothing for the location and weather forecast;
- NO ski clothing that doesn't breathe;
- YES layered clothing;
- Packed lunch and drinks;
- Sunglasses;
- 30-liter backpack;
- Headlamp always in the backpack;
- First aid kit always (with thermal blanket);
- 2 pairs of gloves (1 warm and 1 lighter);
- Footwear suitable for both snowshoes and crampons, but above all waterproof and warm
- Technical equipment: Snowshoes, adjustable poles, if you own crampons
- Avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe
