WHO IS VALENTINA

"My name is Valentina Porro. I was born in Como in 1990, and ever since I was a child, I've loved outdoor sports. In 1993, I put on skis for the first time, starting a passion that grew over the years to become a profession.

I began with a ski club and competitions, eventually deciding to turn this passion into a job. I became a ski instructor in 2012 and later a STF 2 federal coach in 2015, specializing in teaching people with disabilities.

I had the pleasure of working with two clubs, supporting many young people in their athletic and personal growth. Today, I work in Bormio, at the Contea Ski School.

Alongside this, another great passion has always been part of my life: the mountains, experienced through running, hiking, and climbing. This love led me to pursue a career as a Mid-Mountain Guide (AMM), a profession that allows me to share my connection with nature and my experience with others.

In my projects and excursions, I don't just offer simple treks: every experience is designed to foster personal growth, so that the mountains become a place of discovery, learning, and awareness."
