Guided tour of the Folcher wineries with tasting of Slow Food Presidia cheeses

An authentic journey into the taste and history of the Storico Ribelle

In the new and ancient headquarters of Palazzo Folcher, in the historic center of Morbegno, it is now possible to live a unique experience.

The tasting of the rarest and most important vintages of our Slow Food Presidium cheese, paired with the best Valtellina wines, will take place in the prestigious Salone delle Feste, finely decorated in the 18th century.

During warmer periods, it will also be possible to sit on the panoramic granite terrace overlooking the Bitto stream, or even in the 17th-century cellars. In the monumental cellars, a guided tour will also be conducted, accompanied by representatives of the "Ribelli del Bitto" producers, to thoroughly discover the history of the territory, through cheeses, ancient objects, and representations.

Valli del Bitto Spa: guardians of ancient knowledge

The Valli del Bitto Spa company was founded as a concrete act of solidarity to support the Storico Ribelle, a cheese symbolic of the Orobie mountains, an emblem of a cultural heritage to be protected. This unique product encompasses traditions handed down for generations, peasant knowledge, ancient techniques, and a deep connection with nature.

The company today brings together about ten producers who continue to make the Storico according to the traditional method. Each member commits to respecting centuries-old practices in summer transhumance and delivers their production to the Centro del Bitto in Gerola Alta.
