The basic course is for those who want to take their first steps in the world of photography, or those who already have good practice but want to consolidate the main concepts and enrich their 360° knowledge.
N.B. It is not mandatory to have a camera: we will provide some.

By the end of the course, you will have acquired good photographic technique (ability to use the camera without automatic settings), the right notions to be able to read images and take correct and quality shots, in particular:
- Great photographers of the past and present;
- How to best communicate with images;
- How to effectively compose a photograph;
- Switching to full Manual control;
- Choosing the right lens;
- Managing depth of field (blurred background, sharp background);
- ISO – SHUTTER SPEED – APERTURE: the correct setting;
- Light meter;
- White balance;
- Which SD card to buy and how to choose;
- Creating images with silk effect and car trails (long exposures);
- The "panning" technique;
- How to create perfect silhouettes;
- Photographic filters;
- "Hot shoe" flash and "built-in" flash;
- Portrait framing;
- Post-production.
