The Via Ferratas were extensively used by the Alpini to garrison the mountains of the front during the First World War, and many of them are named after the plumed battalions.
Do you want to tackle a Via Ferrata?
With Valmalenco Alpina, you can experience routes equipped with ropes, ladders, and metal steps, as well as suspension bridges, useful for overcoming rock faces, ledges, and exposed paths.
N.B. This experience is available from April to October (the day must be agreed upon with the facility according to the proposed calendar) and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Clothing appropriate for the location and weather forecast;
- Packed lunch;
- Sunglasses;
- 25-30 lt backpack;
- Headlamp always in your backpack;
- Small first aid kit;
- Specific gloves or rubber gardening gloves;
- Footwear suitable for both approach and progression = good grip and good support;
- Technical equipment: helmet, harness, via ferrata kit, rope, carabiners, figure-eight descender.
Technical equipment can be rented from us, do not make purchases before the course.
USEFUL INFORMATION
The price includes professional liability insurance and a small personal accident cover. It does NOT include the logistics costs of individuals and the guide (which remain the responsibility of the participants) and does NOT include any other costs not related to the execution of the activity on site.
