WHO IS VALENTINA

"My name is Valentina Porro, I was born in Como in 1990, and since childhood, I have loved outdoor sports. In 1993, I put on skis for the first time, starting a passion that grew over the years to become a profession.

I started with a ski club and competitions, until I chose to turn this passion into a job. I became a ski instructor in 2012 and subsequently a federal coach STF 2 in 2015, specializing in teaching people with disabilities.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with two clubs, guiding many young people in their sporting and personal growth. Today I work in Bormio, at the Contea Ski School.

Alongside this, another great passion has always been part of my life: the mountains, experienced through running, hiking, and climbing. This love led me to pursue a career as a Mid-Mountain Guide (AMM), a profession that allows me to share my connection with nature and my experience with others.

In my projects and excursions, I don't just offer simple treks: every experience is designed to foster personal growth, so that the mountain becomes a place of discovery, learning, and awareness."
