Bikebernina, a sports association and mountain bike school located in the splendid Valmalenco, is dedicated to organizing mountain bike courses suitable for all skill levels and age groups, actively engaging in the development and design of dedicated trails.

The school boasts a team of professional instructors and qualified guides, all certified by the National School of Mountain Bike Masters – AMI BIKE.

There are 4 experiences available on our website:

• Sentiero Rusca Tour, which includes e-bike rental, a guided tour of approximately 7 hours, the option of a traditional lunch at an alpine refuge, and ASD membership;
• Malga Tour, which includes e-bike rental, a guided tour of approximately 7 hours, the option of a traditional lunch at high altitude, and ASD membership;
• Valmalenco villages with aperitif tour, which includes e-bike rental, a guided tour of approximately 3 hours, an aperitif in a typical local establishment, and ASD membership;

Today we want to tell you the story of Ivan, founder of ValmalencoAlpina.

Ivan grew up in Valtellina, a land he loves and thanks to which he developed a passion for the mountains and for sport.

He works as a nurse specializing in intensive care at a clinic in Milan.

But the city felt too confining for him. So he decided to become a mountain guide and return to his homeland, Valmalenco.

Here he joined other mountain and adrenaline sports enthusiasts and, from their partnership, ValmalencoAlpina was born in 2004.

For 18 years, ValmalencoAlpina has been teaching people to love and enjoy the mountains.

You choose when you want to experience the mountains in Valmalenco!

If you prefer winter, Ivan and his "roped party" will offer courses, including ski mountaineering and snowshoeing, which will allow you to approach these sports with the right method and necessary safety.

Also in winter, you will have the opportunity to attend an ice climbing course on frozen waterfalls: divided into small groups, the guide will adapt the course day to the participants' needs, with personalized instruction.

If you prefer summer, you can choose between a rock climbing course or a via ferrata course, during which you will learn the basics of the discipline to properly develop and stimulate technical skills, muscles (even those you didn't know you had!), and mental components.

Together with the guides, you can also practice canyoning: by jumping, sliding among the carved rocks of the canyons, following the path of the water that the water has traced for us, you will discover an inaccessible and exciting world.
